With the holidays so close, our favorite stars are beginning to celebrate already.
On Wednesday night Madonna was spotted at Gucci’s swanky dinner at the Plaza Hotel.
Terrific-looking singer was wearing a green feathered mini - one of this year’s hottest trends - from Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2009 collection.
She was so brilliant that it was hard to believe the singer is three months into a global tour and involved in a difficult divorce from Guy Ritchie.
Madonna, who in the past has tended to prefer longer, retro-inspired garments, showed off her slender legs wearing sexy fishnets and a pair of green gladiator shoes. The attire was accessorized by a golden belt setting off the emerald tint of her dress and massive designer bracelets. Madge proved once again that a woman can look at least a decade younger than she is.
Madonna is already one of
the most profitable female artists in the world, but she's ready to
expand her growing empire. How so? With a hair care line!
A source tells Star Magazine: "Madonna sees how much Jessica Simpson made off of her hairdo line with Ken Paves, and she wants a piece of the action."
Madonna and her longtime stylist Andy LeCompte will reportedly be working on the hair care line together. If Andy can make Madonna look that fabulous at 50, we want a piece of the action!
NEW YORK (AP) -- Madonna's bid to adopt a Malawian toddler she found in an orphanage in 2006 is likely to be approved in court this week, her lawyer said Tuesday.
Alan Chinula said Madonna's legal team and government representatives would be in Lilongwe High Court on Thursday.
The pop star and her husband, film director Guy Ritchie, are not required to be present. Judge Andrew Nyirenda will review two reports by Malawian officials overseeing the adoption of 2-year-old David Banda.
"We are confident he will grant the Ritchies permanent custody order," said Chinula.
Chief social welfare officer Simon Chisale wrote two glowing reports, describing Madonna a "perfect mum" for David, who was sickly and malnourished when she found him at the Home of Hope Orphanage. His mother died shortly after childbirth and his father was too poor to take care of him. He has since been with Madonna and her family in Britain.
Nyirenda said in court proceedings in October 2006 that he would automatically revoke the temporary custody order if he was convinced David was being treated differently from the Ritchies' other children, Lourdes and Rocco, or that his human rights were being violated in any way.
Some child's rights groups have criticized the adoption, saying it would be better to provide more resources so that children can be cared for in their native countries.
Madonna has set out to prove she is helping to do that. She has set up a charity called Raising Malawi, and she is funding six more orphanages outside the capital, Lilongwe, that provide education and food for about 4,000 children.
She produced a documentary "I Am Because We Are," which shows poverty and disease devastating the lives of Malawi's children, and urges people to volunteer to help.
Madonna has hailed fellow singer Justin Timberlake as the future of music, insisting his ambitious ways will ensure his music will top charts for years to come.
The "Cry Me A River" hitmaker impressed the queen of pop after collaborating on her latest smash hit "4 Minutes," helping the star produce her 11th number one album Hard Candy.
And the singer admits she was drawn to work with the pop hunk because he understands the crazy ways of the music industry better than anyone else.
She says, "He's ambitious but not in an offensive way. He's incredibly responsible and he's good at what he does. I think he has a long future in front of him. He understands the insanity of being a pop star.http://www.starpulse.com

Madonna still enjoys a steamy sex life with husband Guy Ritchie, according to the source.
The '4
Minutes' singer, 49, says despite being married for over seven years, she and husband
Guy Ritchie still make time to be alone together.
The
mother-of-three told Britain's
OK! magazine: "I don't know who told you that having children and getting
married means there is no erotica in your life."
Earlier this
month, Madonna vehemently denied reports her marriage to Guy is on the rocks.
Liz
Rosenberg, Madonna's US
spokeswoman, said: "I am delighted to confirm that Mr. and Mrs. Guy
Ritchie remain happily married.
"Though
they were in different countries recently - Madonna in the US promoting her
upcoming album 'Hard Candy' and Guy finishing up post-production on his new
film 'RocknRolla' as well as completing a Nike commercial and working on
several scripts in England - the family are joyfully back together at home in
London. All is well and wonderful in the Ritchie household."
